With experience working on the Dubied, Shima Seiki, and domestic knitting machines, I work to challenge the regimented nature of such machinery. My experimental approach to materials and processes distorts the perfection of machine knitting, to envision futuristic textiles with an organic energy.

The primary focus within my work has always been producing fabrics for fashion. However, with an overarching interest into fabric behaviour; alternative materials and hand manipulation, I am able to envisage knit into a variety of different contexts and applications for the future of knit.
